Fannie is an adjunct yoga instructor in the Department of Theatre Arts at University of Iowa. She received her initial certification at Moksha Yoga Center in Chicago and is currently pursuing an advanced certification as a ParaYoga Master Teacher. Fannie also teaches at Heartland Yoga Studio in Iowa City.

In addition to teaching yoga, Fannie is an actor and choreographer. She worked professionally in Chicago for The House Theatre, Timeline Theatre, and The Building Stage; as well cofounded the street performance group, The Summer is for Fireflies. Fannie is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and Walnut Hill School of the Arts.
