Tickets for University Theatres Mainstage and Iowa Summer Rep productions are available online through the Hancher Box Office. 

You may also order by phone or in person, or at the door one hour prior to performances.

The box office is closed for university holidays and breaks, but tickets may still be ordered online during those times.

Order in Person
The Hancher Box office is located in Old Capitol Town Center, downtown Iowa City. Located on the main floor in the south hallway to the parking ramp, the box office is open 10 am - 5:30 pm, (except university holidays and breaks).

At the Door
Tickets can be purchased at the door for most Theatre Arts productions one hour prior to the performance, on an as-available basis, unless the production is sold out.

Gallery & Workshop

Tickets for Galleries and Workshops are available in the Theatre lobby one hour before showtime.
Tickets for Gallery shows are $5 non-students and free for University of Iowa students with a valid ID.
Tickets for Workshops are free of charge, however you must obtain a ticket at the door and seating is limited.

Iowa New Play Festival

Tickets for the Iowa New Play Festival are only available at the Theatre Building.

Festival Hours:
Monday, April 30 - Friday, May 4; 12:00 - 1:30 pm
and one hour before each performance

General Admission: $5.00

UI Students: Free

Students must show a valid University ID and can only receive one free ticket per show. All workshops and readings are free and open to the public.
