Everything was swell for Anna, until her father died, her mother went basically catatonic, and some new kid arrived on the island – who really seems like he should be at college right now.

Meanwhile, on a different island, a Girl has somehow managed to break the Perimeter, and The Keeper’s letting her stay – despite the lack of food. Just another task for The Keeper’s Assistant, I guess.

And in both places, the Storms keep getting worse…

This reading contains discussion of grief/death, climate crises, and alcohol abuse.

Ticket Information

Iowa New Play Festival readings are free and open to the public. However, you must obtain a ticket and seating is limited.

Tickets are available during Festival Box Office hours on Monday, May 2 and Tuesday, May 3 from noon to 1:30 p.m. and at the door 30 minutes prior to the reading, on an as-available basis, unless the reading is sold out.
