Mainstage

Tickets for all mainstage productions will go on sale on Monday, August 22 through the Hancher Box Office.

Advanced ticket sales are available through the Hancher Box Office, or tickets can be purchased at the Box Office at the Theatre Building one hour prior to the performance, on an as-available basis, unless the production is sold out.

The box office is closed for university holidays and breaks, but tickets may still be ordered online during those times.

The Hancher Box Office is located at 2400 Hancher Auditorium, 141 E. Park Road, Iowa City. The box office is open 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday-Friday (except university holidays and breaks).

At the Door
Tickets can be purchased at the door for most theatre arts productions one hour prior to the performance, on an as-available basis, unless the production is sold out.

Group Tickets
Organized groups of 15 or more may receive a $2 discount per single ticket. Group discount does not apply to $5 UI student tickets. For more information, call 319-335-1160.

Gallery, Workshops & Readings

Tickets for gallery productions are available in the theatre lobby one hour before showtime.
Tickets for gallery productions are $5 for non-students and free for University of Iowa students with a valid ID. Please Note: We are only able to accept cash for gallery production tickets.
Tickets for workshops, readings, and special projects are free of charge; however, you must obtain a ticket at the door and seating is limited.
