James is an assistant professor of instruction in theatre and dance technology. He has worked professionally at the Missouri Repertory Theatre in Kansas City and Shakespeare in the Park in Fort Worth. His academic teaching credits include Baylor University, Centre College, University of Northern Iowa, and Coe College, serving both as lighting designer and technical director.
