Herbert is excited to join the University of Iowa as the Scenery Shop Supervisor. He received his BFA in Theatre Arts from Stephens College. For the last four years Herbert has been the Scene Shop Assistant Manager/Scenery Technician for the Alley Theatre in Houston, Texas. Previous academic roles include Production Coordinator at Northeastern University in Boston, MA; Shop Foreman at Stephens College in Columbia, MO; and the Facilities Manager and Lighting Supervisor at Okoboji Summer Theatre in Okoboji, IA. Past regional theatre roles include Electrician at Dallas Theater Center and Kansas City Repertory Theatre, and Stage Staff at Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.
